Filer dropped down to 4-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were outmatched by the Kimberly Bulldogs and fell 50-6. Having soared to a lofty 61 points in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Talyn Weaver and Tristan Rea certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Weaver picked up 96 receiving yards and one score, while Rea threw for 199 yards and one TD.

As for Kimberly, the win got them back to even at 3-3. That 44 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

MacRaye Bruning went supernova, throwing for 206 yards and six touchdowns on only 19 passes, while also rushing for 40 yards and one score. Joe Barrett did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 57 receiving yards.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Filer will take on rival Gooding at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Rea and Cougar Stockham. Meanwhile, Kimberly is set to challenge their familiar foe Wood River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
