Football Game Recap: King & Queen Central vs. Mathews

Mathews won the last time they met up with King & Queen Central, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Mathews captured a comfortable 33-18 victory over King & Queen Central.

King & Queen Central's loss came about despite a quality game from senior Amonte Hill, who rushed for 137 yards and 1 touchdown. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse junior Zavon Montgomery, who racked up 11 tackles.

Next week Mathews take on King William at 7:00 PM. Mathews will be strutting in after a win while King William will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for King & Queen Central, they will face off against West Point. King & Queen Central's defense better steel itself: West Point are averaging 36.2 points per game.
