Baseball Recap: Port Clinton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Northwood on Thursday, Port Clinton came back down to earth. The Redskins came up short against the Edison Chargers on Friday, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in April.

Port Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Edison, their win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-1.

Looking ahead, Port Clinton will take on Monroeville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Redskins are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Edison, they will challenge Western Reserve at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
