Soccer Recap: Winters Takes a Loss

Winters and Williams squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Winters had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Williams Yellowjackets. The Warriors were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than four goals in the four games prior), but the Yellowjackets' defense proved too tough.

Winters' defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Williams, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1.

Winters does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Williams, they will take on Colusa at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Williams is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
