Football Recap: Tommy Langdon's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bradford over Brookville + How To Watch

Bradford extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 1-4. They lost 49-27 to the Brookville Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls of the 48-21 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Bradford lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tommy Langdon, who rushed for 126 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Gow, who picked up 60 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Bradford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Logan Kohler and Langdon. Langdon got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Brookville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Sam Krug was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 141 yards and one TD while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also caught one score. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards. Zach Phillips was in the mix too, providing Brookville with one touchdown.

Looking ahead, Bradford will look to defend their home field on the 26th against Redbank Valley at 7:00 p.m. The Owls will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.25 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Brookville, they will head out to challenge Coudersport at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
