Cherryvale had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They blew past the Fredonia Yellowjackets, posting a 60-28 victory. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 307th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cherryvale's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points over those games. As for Fredonia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Looking ahead, Cherryvale will host Caney Valley on Tuesday. Cherryvale knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Caney Valley likes a good challenge. As for Fredonia, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bluestem on Tuesday.
