Dadeville hadn't done well against Lee-Scott Academy recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Warriors a 6-0 shutout. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Dadeville and bumps their season record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Lee-Scott Academy, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-7.
