Soccer Recap: Belleville Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

Belleville hasn't lost a match since April 26th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They never let the West Salem Panthers get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Belleville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by three goals or more this season.

Anya Brenkman and Audry Brueggemann scored all three of Belleville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 39 goals.

Belleville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those seven games. As for West Salem, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-2-1 record.

Belleville and West Salem should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Wildcats (ranked 33rd) will meet Lodi (ranked 121st) at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Salem will challenge Holmen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (34 vs. 94).
