Volleyball Game Preview: North East Carolina Prep Huskies vs. Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars

The North East Carolina Prep Huskies will head out on the road to challenge the Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Wednesday, North East Carolina Prep made easy work of North Edgecombe and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

One reason for the win was North East Carolina Prep's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-8, 25-6.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Rocky Mount Prep duked it out with Washington County on Friday. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers.

While Rocky Mount Prep might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Washington County scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-23.

North East Carolina Prep's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Rocky Mount Prep, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

North East Carolina Prep took their victory against Rocky Mount Prep in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
