Basketball Recap: Bellevue Takes a Loss

Bellevue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 58-42 bruising from the Windthorst Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 76-46 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Bellevue's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Windthorst, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-5.

Bellevue won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Victory Christian Academy at 11:10 a.m. on Saturday. As for Windthorst, they will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Trinity Christian at 1:50 p.m. Trinity Christian will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Windthorst surely won't give up without a fight.
