Basketball Recap: Bethany Community Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against River Mill on Wednesday, Bethany Community came back down to earth. The Wolves took a 70-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Graham Red Devils on Friday. The game was a 30-30 toss-up at halftime, but the Wolves couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the loss, Bethany Community still got an impressive performance from Quentin Leach, who posted 22 points. Leach's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Harvey, who scored 13 points.

Micah Woods was nothing short of spectacular for Graham: he dropped a double-double with 33 points and ten rebounds. What's more, Woods posted three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Ladario Johnson was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

Bethany Community now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Bethany Community will venture away from home to square off against Rockingham County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Graham, they will host Chatham Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
