Football Recap: Ontario Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ontario Christian extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They took a blow against the Aquinas Falcons, falling 75-27. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 807th, while the Falcons are ranked 81st).

Ontario Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kaiden Roberts, who picked up 48 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Gavin Giles also helped out with an impressive 127 receiving yards.

As for Aquinas, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Charlie Reyes, who rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 38 yards and a pair of TDs. Cooper Barrows was another key player, rushing for 66 yards and one score.

Ontario Christian has already played their next contest, a 40-8 defeat against Heritage Christian on the 10th. As for Aquinas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 40-6 victory against Valley Christian on the 10th.
