Basketball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University played against Aliso Niguel and lost via forfeit.

University is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9. As for Aliso Niguel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Capistrano Valley at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Aliso Niguel, they will take on Murrieta Mesa in a tournament on Thursday.
