Volleyball Recap: University Christian Wins Going Away Against Winston Salem Christian

The University Christian Barracudas made easy work of the Winston Salem Christian Lions on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

While University Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16, 25-17.

University Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Winston Salem Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, University Christian will square off against Gaston Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Barracudas surely won't give up without a fight. As for Winston Salem Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Burlington Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
