Baseball Recap: Crestwood Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Crestwood's offense. They came up short against the Waukon Indians on Tuesday, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent loss being a 17-0 defeat on Tuesday.

Crestwood has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Waukon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-15.

Crestwood has already played their next game (against Oelwein), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Waukon, they will venture away from home to face off against MFL MarMac at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
