Baseball Recap: Thomasville Wins Going Away Against North Rowan

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Thomasville and North Rowan had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Thomasville Bulldogs blew past the North Rowan Cavaliers 28-2 on Tuesday. That 26 run margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Travail Barnes was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with four runs, five RBI, and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of Thomasville's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is 2-1 (and 1-4 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah McNeair, who scored five runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
