Volleyball Recap: Wood Comes Up Short

Wood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Irvington Vikings.

Wood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Irvington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Coming up, Wood will welcome Sacramento at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Irvington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Liberty on the 12th.
