Fairley extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 9-4 in the process. They had just enough and edged out the Trezevant Bears 9-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-4 back in April.

Kristian Carmicle was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

In other batting news, Edward Hunt was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Zeveian Hill-Davis, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

As for Trezevant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since May 2, 2024.

On Trezevant's side, Jaden Ivey was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylan Moore, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

As of now, neither Fairley nor Trezevant have any future games scheduled.
