Green Bay Preble strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the De Pere Redbirds as they made off with a 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Katie Geydoshek spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 17 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Green Bay Preble got a big performance out of Chloe Savage, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Savage has posted over her last ten games. Another player making a difference was Gracie Day, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Green Bay Preble was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as De Pere only posted a batting average of .125.

Green Bay Preble pushed their record up to 20-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for De Pere, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.
