Baseball Recap: Peoria Heights Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Peoria Heights can now relate to. They came up short against the Heyworth Hornets on Friday, falling 10-2. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Peoria Heights saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Ahart, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Peoria Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Heyworth, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-14 record this season.
