Caribou has gone 8-2 against Old Town recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Vikings will look to defend their home pitch against the Coyotes at 2:00 p.m. Old Town took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Caribou, who comes in off a win.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Caribou and Presque Isle had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 3-2. That's two games straight that Caribou have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Old Town fell victim to Orono and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Riots, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Old Town can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine soccer rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Orono are ranked 15th).

Caribou's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Old Town, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went Caribou's way against Old Town when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Caribou made off with a 10-2 victory. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Coyotes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
