Softball Recap: Lisbon Broncos vs. Enderlin Eagles

Enderlin hit Lisbon with a four-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Broncos came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-2 on April 8th.

Lisbon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carly Mairs, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

This is the second loss in a row for Lisbon and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Enderlin, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lisbon will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northern Cass at 4:30 p.m. on May 5. As for Enderlin, they will square off against Maple River at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
