Volleyball Recap: Pisgah Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Pisgah took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against North Henderson, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bears came out on top in a nail-biter against the Knights on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won three matches in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (109-108) Pisgah actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 22-25, 18-25, 28-26, 15-12.

Pisgah pushed their record up to 3-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Henderson, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pisgah is set to take on their familiar foe Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, North Henderson will square off against rival T.C. Roberson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
