Basketball Game Preview: Dekaney Wildcats vs. Benjamin Davis Falcons

The Dekaney Wildcats will take on the Benjamin Davis Falcons in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Dekaney is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 63 points on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Westfield on Friday. They were outmatched by the Mustangs and fell 59-7. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1208th, while the Mustangs are ranked 225th).

Meanwhile, Benjamin Davis came up short against Spring on Friday and fell 45-34.

Dekaney's defeat was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Benjamin Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
