Baseball Recap: Lower Moreland Victorious

Lower Moreland's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand New Hope-Solebury a 3-0 shutout. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

James Cronin was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Cronin was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Cronin wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Calder, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Eddie Weber also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
