Volleyball Recap: Dumas Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Dumas lost against West Plains back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Demons came up short against the Wolves, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-11.

West Plains' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from CC Murillo, who had 18 assists and 13 digs. Murillo is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 15 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Idaly Sotelo, who had 14 digs and two aces.

Dumas' defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for West Plains, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dumas will challenge rival Pampa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Plains is set to square off against their familiar foe Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
