Football Game Preview: Fall River Bulldogs vs. Mt. Shasta Bears + How To Watch

Fall River is 6-1 against Mt. Shasta since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will take on the Bears at 7:30 p.m. Fall River will be strutting in after a win while Mt. Shasta will be coming in after a defeat.

Fall River is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 62-14 victory over Weed. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Fall River relied on the efforts of Raul Iniguez, who rushed for 212 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, and Abraham Estes, who rushed for 208 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. The Bulldogs are 3-1 when Iniguez posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Mt. Shasta's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 28-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity. The Bears gained 166 more yards on the day, but it was the Wolves that made the best use of them.

Fall River will have to contain Noah Yegar as he made an impact in Mt. Shasta's last game. He rushed for 90 yards and one score on only five carries, and also threw for 181 yards on only 12 passes. A healthy portion of Yegar's aerial production (97 yards to be exact) went to Nick Mangrum.

Fall River now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mt. Shasta, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-4.

Everything came up roses for Fall River against Mt. Shasta in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-12 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
