Football Recap: Pomona Red Devils vs. Wilson Wildcats
Thursday just wasn't the day for Pomona's offense. They were beaten by the Wilson Wildcats 43-0 on Thursday. The loss leaves the Red Devils without a win on the season.
Dominic Ezeonye was his usual excellent self, rushing for 158 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries for Wilson. Ezeonye's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 126 rushing yards.
Pomona's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Wilson, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Pomona does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilson, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Yucca Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Wilson's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.
