Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Lake Catholic, but Lola Loncar wouldn't allow it. The Cougars came out on top against the Lions by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Loncar, who had 31 digs and three assists. Loncar is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Lake Catholic was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 25-14, 25-18.

Lake Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maddie Summers out in front who had seven digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Summers a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin still got an impressive performance from Leah Bender, who had four digs and two aces.

Lake Catholic moved to 6-8 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, they dropped their record down to 5-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Lake Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy on the 18th.
