Baseball Recap: Fairborn Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Fairborn's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Beavercreek Beavers on Thursday. The Skyhawks haven't had much luck with the Beavers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Fairborn's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12-1. As for Beavercreek, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairborn will head out to take on National Trail at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Blazers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.1 runs per game on average), something the Skyhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Beavercreek, they will square off against Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
