Volleyball Recap: Woodland Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Kierston George and Rahme Seman

Woodland had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westlake Lions on Thursday. The Wolfpack have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Rahme Seman and Kierston George certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Seman had six kills and six digs, while George had four assists.

Westlake has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Woodland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Langston Hughes on the 7th. As for Westlake, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Commerce on the 9th.
