Bradley Central won against McMinn County on Friday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Bears walked away with a 6-1 win over the East Hamilton Hurricanes. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hurricanes, too.

Christian Lee tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Jadon Griffey was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Nathan Thompson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Bradley Central and bumps their season record up to 8-14. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for East Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

Bradley Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hurricanes: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
