Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Mecklenburg). They enjoyed a cozy 24-7 victory over the Garinger Wildcats on Thursday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Drake Lineberger threw for 104 yards and three TDs. Asante Jones was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Kamren Moore rushed for 67 yards.
