Basketball Recap: Brainerd Takes a Loss

Brainerd was the 67-54 winner over Bledsoe County when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Brainerd Panthers fell just short of the Bledsoe County Warriors by a score of 61-59 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly two points.

Brainerd has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Bledsoe County and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

Brainerd does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bledsoe County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-29 defeat against Tyner Academy on the 22nd.
