Volleyball Recap: Tipton Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tipton can now relate to. They came up short against the Lapel Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Trynadee Tilley paced Tipton's offense, picking up six kills. Tilley got some help from Bella Henderson and her 13 assists. Henderson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lapel found their leader in sophomore Layla Graham, who had 11 digs and three assists.

Tipton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Lapel, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-8.

Tipton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lapel, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Sheridan on the 18th.
