Volleyball Recap: Tipton Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tipton can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Lapel Bulldogs on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Trynadee Tilley paced Tipton's offense, picking up six kills. Tilley got some help from Bella Henderson and her 13 assists. Henderson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Tipton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Lapel, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season.

Tipton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lapel, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Sheridan on the 18th.
