Softball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood lost against Millikan back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lancers came up short against the Rams, falling 11-3.

Lakewood now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Millikan, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lakewood will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South at 3:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Millikan, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Gahr on the 10th.
