Basketball Recap: Yucca Valley Comes Up Short

Yucca Valley's tournament run continued when they took on Laguna Beach on Friday. The Yucca Valley Trojans were beaten by the Laguna Beach Breakers 75-20. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brody Azadian continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Laguna Beach, putting up 28 points. The game was Azadian's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tai Contreras, who posted 16 points.

Yucca Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Laguna Beach, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.

Yucca Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-26 loss against Torrance on the 28th. Laguna Beach has also already played their next match, a 64-56 victory against La Quinta on the 28th.
