Softball Recap: Jonesboro Cardinals vs. McDonough Warhawks

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Jonesboro was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McDonough only posted a batting average of .333.
Jonesboro's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6. As for McDonough, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jonesboro will host Starr's Mill at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams will come into the matchup having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes. As for McDonough, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Stockbridge at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday.
