Football Recap: Hayward/Lac Courte Oreilles Takes a Loss

Hayward/Lac Courte Oreilles lost against Rhinelander back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hurricanes fell 34-22 to the Hodags. The Hurricanes were down 28-6 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Hayward/Lac Courte Oreilles' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rhinelander, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Hayward/Lac Courte Oreilles will head out to take on Barron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rhinelander, they will face off against Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Hodags their first taste of in-conference action this season.
