Volleyball Recap: Clint Falls to Del Valle in First Game of Season

Clint kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Del Valle Conquistadores, falling 3-0. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Conquistadores recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-8, 25-10.

Mia Puga was the offensive standout of the game as she had seven digs and three aces. Kaitlyn Chavez was another key player, getting 18 assists and three digs.

Clint wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Monahans on the 15th. As for Del Valle, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Harmony School of Innovation on the 14th.
