Basketball Recap: Ausable Valley Comes Up Short on the Road Against Northern Adirondack + How To Watch

AuSable Valley kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 58-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northern Adirondack Bobcats. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Despite the loss, AuSable Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Robert Amato shot 55% from the field on his way to 16 points and four steals. Aiden Blaise was another key player, putting up 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

AuSable Valley has already played their next contest, a 55-38 defeat against Peru on the 5th. As for Northern Adirondack, they will square off against Ticonderoga at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
