Volleyball Recap: Bellevue Comes Up Short

Bellevue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Villa Madonna Vikings. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bellevue's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Villa Madonna, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Bellevue will be playing in front of their home fans against Williamstown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Villa Madonna, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ludlow at 7:00 p.m. on September 4.
