Nevada hadn't done well against Carl Junction recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-39 win over the Bulldogs. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 53-47 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Nevada now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, Nevada and Carl Junction will both be playing Neosho the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th.
