Basketball Recap: Hinckley-Finlayson Skates Past Ogilvie with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hinckley-Finlayson). They blew past the Ogilvie Lions, posting a 63-30 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Jaguars have posted since February 1st.

Hinckley-Finlayson's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Ogilvie, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Hinckley-Finlayson will face off against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ogilvie, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Barnum at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Barnum knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Ogilvie likes a good challenge.
