The Emmett Huskies will take on the Cole Valley Christian Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Emmett didn't have quite enough to beat Homedale and fell 3-2.

Emmett wouldn't go down easily and took Homedale into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking ten-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 20-25, 23-25, 15-5.

Meanwhile, Cole Valley Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Fruitland by a score of 3-2.

Cole Valley Christian took Fruitland into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-14, 25-22, 21-25, 15-11.

Emmett's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Cole Valley Christian, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 11-4.
