St. Joseph Regional's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the NV - Demarest Norsemen. The result was nothing new for the Green Knights, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Danny Alvarez looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, St. Joseph Regional got a massive performance out of Ryan McCabe, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Gomez, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.

St. Joseph Regional always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .634. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

St. Joseph Regional's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for NV - Demarest, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

Looking ahead, St. Joseph Regional will challenge Don Bosco Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Green Knights 4, the Ironmen 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for NV - Demarest, they will take on Tenafly at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
