Medfield is 9-1 against Millis since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors will welcome the Mohawks at 3:45 p.m. Medfield will be strutting in after a win while Millis will be coming in after a defeat.
Medfield made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Natick, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Warriors blew past the Redhawks 18-7 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Warriors needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Tess Baacke was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Katie Currie, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5.
Medfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .565. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Millis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Bellingham, falling 8-1. That's two games in a row now that the Mohawks have lost by exactly seven runs.
Millis saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keira Davis, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Davis is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Isabella Briones also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Millis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Medfield, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Millis' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Medfield hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. It's a different story for Millis, though, as they've only averaged .245. Will they be able to contain Medfield's hitters?
Medfield came out on top in a nail-biter against Millis in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 10-9. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mohawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
