After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Uwharrie Charter Academy, Eastern Randolph was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Trinity Bulldogs with a sharp 12-2 win. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Raegan Beaver made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
