Basketball Recap: Seven Hills Takes a Loss

Seven Hills and Madeira squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Seven Hills had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS and fell 59-32. While losing is never fun, the Stingers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 561st, while the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS are ranked 218th).

Seven Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Madeira, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-5.

Seven Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madeira, they will square off against Brookville on Saturday. One thing working in Madeira's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
